GMail Drive is a small utility that converts your account into an online hard drive. Gmail offers more than 6GB space in your email account so rather than fill it with useless emails why not convert it in an online storage drive.
Gmail Drive creates a new drive in my computer. It basically creates a virtual file system around your Google Mail account allowing you to use Gmail as an online hard drive. A new hard drive with a name of Gmail drive can be used like a normal drive. That doesn’t mean you can install softwares on new drive. Just use it to store your data on an online location with an ease of just like doing it locally.

On creating a new file on GMail Drive you would receive an automated email. You will recieve that file as an email attachment. GMail Drive acts as any other hard-drive installed on your computer. You can copy files to and from the GMail Drive folder simply by using drag’n'drop like you’re used to with the normal Explorer folders.
