Trendsmap is a mash up between Google map and Twitter. This tool displays the real time twitter trends on the maps. If you open the website you will see words on the map which basically represents the more and less popular tweets in the particular location.
With an easy to navigate option ,use plus and minus buttons to zoom in and zoom out. Select your current location or any location from the map to see the popular tweets in selected area.
Trendsmap is continuously tracking the twitter trend. New trends updates after every minute and they may gradually increase or decrease in prominence as they become more or less popular.
Covering over 500 cities from around globe for the real time 5 million tweets in 24 hours.
Current twitter trends are only from English speaking countries. New languages will be coming soon in the near future.
