PaintDS is a replica of MSPaint for Mac OS X which allows to easily edit bitmap and other images. This application is very useful for making simple edits such as cropping images, creating simple images and all the common tasks we perform daily. As you can see from the screenshot that this tool has relatively simple interface, and all the elements are easily accessible.

Many times I have to add information to any PNG image. Doing it from a heavier editing program can be a bit annoying. PNGCommentator, a free application that allows to add custom metadata to PNG image files. The screenshot of this utility describes the simplicity of this application. Just drag the image to the application or open it from the File menu to add metadata.
