As you already know, Google and Facebook launched their own URL shortening service, which are goo.gl or fb.me respectively. Both companies launch their URL shortening services after watching the popularity of Bit.ly on Twitter.

Now Youtube comes into the scene by launching Youtu.be. Main focus is to create trimmed URL of Youtube Videos.
